Seven Casa Dei Ciliegi

Meat focused restaurant on the Naviglio Martesana. Cosy environment, good food, nice service. Specialties noteworthy are the mixed Fried appetizers, mixed cheese and cold cuts and - obviously - meat in different fashions. No parking available at the restaurant and small tables if you are off numbered are the only remarks for this restaurant.

Leather Friends Italia choose this place to host the 50th ECMC-AGM "welcome dinner". There were 140 people in attendance. The food was delicious and served quickly by a friendly and helpful staff!

This restaurant specializes in quality meats, excellently prepared, and served in a charming atmosphere that is appropriate for a date, family dinner, or even groups. Service is excellent, they’ve an extensive wine list, and prices are very reasonable (2 starters, 2 mains, 1 bottle of very good wine, 1 dessert, and an extra glass of wine cost us €102). There are a couple of vegetarian options on the menu, and the salads that I’ve seen though not tasted look nice, but there’s really not much for non-carnivores. The space is surprisingly large, but broken up into several smaller rooms which helps manage the noise level and maintain the atmosphere.

A nice hidden gem on the Martesana close to viale Monza. The location is very nice by the water stream with a nice big internal seating and in the garden. Although they specialise on meat you get overall other options as well. Don’t miss the cheese fondue (winter special) with porcini mushrooms. They have nice assortment for vegetarian and also a fish option. The desert and wine are great as well. Definitely a place to consider.

Came to celebrate the birthday of a friend. The place got full at some point, but the service seemed to be fast. The food overall was good but one of the pieces of meat was too cooked, when we ask it to be rare. When we ordered dolce, we waited for around 30 mins and nobody brought them. A waitress came and asked if we want something else, we said we are waiting for the dessert for more than half an hour already. She went to the kitchen. Other 10 mins later, we asked another waitress about our dessert that by that time we were waiting for 40’ and it was already 23:10. She said “yeah, they are making it now”. Nobody said sorry, nothing at all; they just forgot, being busy to clean the tables, as by 11pm the place was almost empty. Sooo the overall experience was fine but I guess there is a room for improvement in the service

We had a late night (11pm) dinner here, and were the last customers out. Despite the late hour, we were not only welcome, but also cheered by the awesome service here. The meat we had was extremely good, and the wine cart had some very interesting red wines in it. The place is extremely big and perfect for a dinner with friends (even though I suspect the rooms at the lower level might fit a romantic evening as well), located in an area where parking is not that hard as well. Atmosphere was extremely nice at the lower level: however we had dinner at the top floor, where it gets more homely (but no less nice, I would say). It's surely a place I'd consider again in my shortlist for an informal dinner with friends in Milan.

It was a company event organized by a food lover. The most highlighted dish was the Florentine steak, amazingly tender and nicely cooked. I would say this is the most beautiful medium rare. One last thing, don’t miss the dessert… personally recommend the espresso size tiramisu. Great resounding taste
